Anodes for application in soil
Anodes are used to protect metal structures from corrosion. They are installed in the ground and connected to the metal structure with a cable.
Anodes are made of different materials, such as zinc, aluminium or magnesium. The material is chosen based on the type of metal that needs protection and the environment where it will be installed.
The anode is connected to a power source and when it corrodes, it releases electrons that flow through the ground cable to the metal
